The student visa in Australia is called the subclass 500 visa. The visa is offered for eligible courses offered by authorized education service providers. The provider is to be registered as CRICOS to offer courses for international students. The students are required to have a confirmation of enrolment (COE) from the education provider. The duration of the visa can be up to five years based on the structure of the course in which a student has been enrolled and admitted.
Students are required to meet the requirements for admission to apply for a course and the subclass 500 student visa in Australia. The minimum age to apply is six years. The visa requirements in total can vary based on the country of citizenship of a student. Family members can be made part of the visa application, a family member for this visa category is a spouse or a dependent child.
